What are COMPOSITE and NON-COMPOSITE modules?
- Composite modules use low capacity DRAM chip architecturers that
significantly increase the number of DRAM devices per module compared to the
same non-composite module.
- Composite modules usually are less expensive during the introductory
period of a larger capacity DRAM technology.
- The large quantity of chips create extreme capacitance values and power
requirements that some computer systems can't tolerate.
- Composite modules are not recommended for use in any Apple computer
systems as well as many other computer manufacturers.
