PC 100 SDRAM is meant only for systems designed to run the memory bus at 100MHz without "Tweaking" or "Overclocking". PC 100 or any other Advantage Memory SDRAM memory is not guaranteed to work at all in overclocked systems. The first Intel chipset to support PC 100 memory is the 440BX chipset. All previous Intel chipsets that use SDRAM are meant to run the memory bus at 66MHz or slower.

You should not sell or advise the installation of PC 100 SDRAM unless the system is specifically designed for PC 100 compliant SDRAM. Certain pinout specifications for PC 100 may be incompatible with older SDRAM systems.
