Personal Day (formerly a 'floater')
On January 1, 2000, eight hours will be credited to each employee's 'Personal Time Off' as defined in the Employee Handbook revision (December 16, 1997) relating to Sick Leave Pay, as amended. AMC's intent is for each employee to this Personal Day to expand a Holiday Weekend. If you want to use your hours for Monday, January 3rd, 2000 or Friday, November 24th, 2000, please submit a vacation request as soon as possible. Probationary employee's will be eligible to use their Personal Day after they complete their probation period. Departmental coverage will remain a priority. In the case of coverage conflict, seniority will be taken into consideration.
